In order to be accepted into the International Master's Degree
programme, one of the following requirements must be satisfied:
- The student has attained a Bachelor's Degree in Library
and Information Science or
- a First Degree in Librarianship, or
- the student has a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent from
another higher education institution. In the latter case,
acceptance will depend on an individual subject evaluation
In cases where there are more applicants than there are places
available on the course, acceptance will be on the following
criteria:
- examination resultswithin the qualifying
examination,
-
examination yearof the qualifying examination
(fall in weighting year by year).
- the Master rule applies to the Master degree
programmes at DSLIS as well, which means that if you already have
one Master degree you will only be accepted if there are places
available in the programme.
Application Deadlines
Enrolment takes place every semester for the full
programme.
When applying for the full programme starting the following
September the deadline for submitting an application
is:
March 15th.
When applying for the full programme starting the following
February the deadline is:
September 15th.
